Hospital Based & other Funded Health Programs

Nurse Practitioners have been very active in hospital based wellness programs nationwide with excellent outcomes for your patients. We have found, however, that wellness programs are under utilized in many hospitals. Whether you are a hospital based Wellness Program, a funded Tobacco Cessation Program, a Healthful Cooking Group, or an obesity management program, to name a few….attendance will be increased by linking your program to the NP Outreach model.

Even if you already employ a Nurse Practitioner to run your groups, she (he) can become a member of NP Outreach and get support in motivating community members to participate. Our experience has shown that costs to your hospital or program for enrollee gift bags will be minimal, compared to your return in participation. Rather than paying your group leaders to address a half filled room, they will be investing their time more productively by leading filled groups.
