If you are a School or College, you are probably already engaged in many health education programs for your students. What is unique about NP Outreach is that we can help you link with a Nurse Practitioner Presenter in your area to provide a program that encourages your students to sign up for healthy activities in your community.

NP Outreach presenters use age appropriate healthy gift bags as an incentive to encourage students to enroll in health promotion groups. These may be anything from exercise programs to smoking cessation or anger management. Perhaps you already have a six to eight week healthy lifestyle class being offered on your campus, but would like to see more students take advantage of it.

We have found that offering a gift bag in conjunction with enrollment during the NP health promotion lecture, dramatically increases attendance. Because manufacturers are supporting this effort by lowering their profits to encourage student enrollment in health promotion activities, the cost to your institution for the gift bags is minimal. In some cases that cost has been covered by student enrollment fees or parent teacher groups.
